Lawrence Leung: Growing Concerns

Acclaimed comedian, champion worrier and consistent escape room prisoner, Lawrence returns with tall tales, big concerns and dubious solutions. 

Lawrence is a multi award-winning Melbourne comedian, actor and screenwriter. He’s best known for his TV work including the AFI-nominated  Lawrence Leung’s Choose Your Own Adventure  and  Lawrence Leung’s Unbelievable for ABC1 and getting his butt kicked in the ABC2 action/comedy Maximum Choppage. 

He’s written and presented pieces for SBS's The Feed, ABC Catalyst and appeared on  Newton’s Law, Jane Campion’s  Top of the Lake: China Girl, as well as playing that awkward doctor named Elvis on Network Ten’s  Offspring. Lawrence's solo show Sucker was adapted into a feature film starring Timothy Spall. 

Lawrence’s live shows have played in theatres and festivals across Australia and around the world, including  Lawrence Leung Learns to Breakdance (The Age Critics' Award), Sucker (Melbourne Fringe Best Solo Show) and Very Strange Things (Melbourne Magic Festival Director's Choice Award).
